Building Fire - Berry

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) firefighters from Berry, Nowra and Shoalhaven were responded to a shop fire shortly after 5.30pm this afternoon after multiple Triple Zero (000) calls were received from members of the public.

Upon arrival, firefighters were faced with a building that was well alight, with NSW Police Force and NSW Ambulance both responding to provide assistance.

The fire was brought under control just before 6.15pm, and was contained to the building of origin, however firefighters are expected to remain on scene for some time into the evening.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, and the cause of the blaze is currently undetermined. Investigations are continuing.
