Opera House Gas Leak - Sydney

Just before 2:30 pm this afternoon Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) were called to the Sydney Opera House due to a unknown gas leak in the basement level of the building.
With the area currently under construction it is unknown how the leak occurred although it has caused evacuations throughout parts of the Opera House.
Fire and Rescue NSW have called in a specialist Hazardous Materials crew to locate and determine the gas, and work quickly to render the area safe.
