House Fire - Whalan

Just before 2pm this afternoon Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews were called to a house fire on Luxford Road, Whalan.

Crews arrived on scene to find the house well alight, but within minutes were able to gain control of the blaze and extinguish the fire.

One elderly female was evacuated from the house and treated by Ambulance NSW.

Luxford Road westbound has been closed between Aitape Crescent whilst operations are ongoing
