Aircraft Incident - Bankstown

Just after 9:00 am this morning Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) responded to a Triple Zero (000) call to reports of an aircraft that has crashed on the runway at Bankstown Aircraft Aerodrome, Airport Ave, Bankstown

On arrival, fire crews found a single-engine Cessna crashed with the nose down on the runway with the two people walking around the aircraft

On closer inspection crews found minor damage to the aircraft and no fuel spill. A small oil spill was rendered safe. Thankfully no injuries were reported
