Building site rescue - Bankstown

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) rescued a man from a building site at Bankstown today after he sustained injuries on the fourth floor of a building under construction.

A ladder platform "cherry picker" truck from Kogarah Fire Station was used to remove the man from the building after he sustained head injuries and a broken wrist during a fall.

Rescue crews arrived on scene following a Triple Zero (000) call at 11:41am and stabilised the man before he was safely removed to be transported by NSW Ambulance to hospital for treatment.
