Tree Rescue - Man Trapped - Peakhurst

At 7:30pm on Saturday 30 January, Fire and Rescue NSW
(FRNSW) responded to Gannons Park, Peakhurst after receiving information an injured man was trapped in a large tree, unable to climb down.

Firefighters from Riverwood and Hurstville Fire Stations arrived to find a 50-year-old man trapped in a large tree 8 meters above the ground after he injured his foot trying to climb down.

Crews used rescue ladders and cordage equipment to safely lower the gentleman to the ground who was then left in the care of NSW Ambulance.
