Unit Fire - The Entrance

Just after 6:30pm, Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) responded to a large unit block on Ocean Parade, The Entrance after receiving numerous Triple Zero (000) calls reporting a unit fire.

Multiple crews from fire stations across the Central Coast arrived shortly after to find smoke and flames issuing from a third-floor unit with evacuations taking place.

Firefighters worked for over 45 minutes to extinguish the blaze containing the fire to the unit of origin.

NSW Ambulance were in attendance although no injuries were reported.

As a result of the incident, the unit has been significantly damaged by smoke and fire.

Investigations into the cause will be carried out by NSW Police and Fire and Rescue NSW.
