Motor vehicle accident - North St Marys

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) responded to a serious car accident on Glossop Street, North St Marys after a utility collided with a telegraph pole at around 1:35pm this afternoon.

Crews from St Marys and Rope Crossing Fire Stations arrived on scene to find a male passenger trapped in the wreckage.

Firefighters cut the roof off the vehicle and safely removed the passenger, who was then treated on scene by NSW Ambulance and transported to hospital.

NSW Police closed Glossop Street near Wattle Street in both directions until the incident was cleared.
