Car Crash into Home - Holroyd

Firefighters from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) have attended a home in Holroyd after a car crashed into a home, injuring an elderly couple just after 6.30pm.

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) responded to the incident to find a car had crashed through the garage of the home on Brickworks Drive causing significant damage to the structure.

Firefighters from Merrylands and Blacktown Fire Stations rendered the home safe by shoring up the walls with temporary supports.

The elderly couple managed to climb free of the wreck prior to crews arrival and were treated for shock by NSW Ambulance.

The occupants of the home were uninjured in the incident.
