Factory Fire - Cabramatta

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) firefighters have worked through the night to contain a large scale factory fire that broke out on Chadderton Street, Cabramatta just before 10:30pm.

More than 50 firefighters from Sydney's western suburbs worked tirelessly throughout the night, bringing the blaze under control just before 2am.

In a complex incident, large sections of the structure were not able to be accessed from the ground requiring aerial cherry pickers to attack the fire from the air.

More than 20 residents were evacuated from adjacent homes, however no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by NSW Police.
