House Fire - Dubbo

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) firefighters have managed to extinguish a fire that broke out at a home on Collins Avenue, Dubbo just after 8am this morning.

FRNSW received numerous Triple Zero (000) calls from witnesses who had noticed large plumes of smoke coming from the home.

Crews arrived a short time later and found the home well alight. Firefighters were able to quickly gain control of the blaze however the home was extensively damaged.

Initial investigations suggest the fire began in the bedroom, however the cause has not yet been identified.

All occupants managed to evacuated safely and were unharmed in the incident.
