Shop Fire - Eden

Fire and Rescue NSW firefighters from the NSW South Coast have managed to extinguish a fire that broke out at a shop on Imlay St, Eden just after 9am this morning.

A Triple Zero (000) caller reported large plumes of smoke coming from the shop around 9.15am. Firefighters arrived on scene a short time later and managed to gain entry to the shop and quickly extinguish the blaze.

Crews managed to contain the fire to the shop of origin however an adjacent shop received minor smoke damage.

All occupants in adjoining shops and residents above were able to evacuate with no injuries reported.

The site has since been handed over to NSW Police for further investigations.
