House Fire - Maitland

Just after 7:30am this morning Fire and Rescue crews received a Triple Zero call (000) to reports of a house fire in Bonar st, Maitland.
On arrival Fire and Rescue Crews from Rutherford and Maitland found smoke issuing from the roof at the back of a house.
Crews got to work and were able to extinguish the fire and contain the fire to the kitchen. All occupants evacuated safely.
Police and Ambulance NSW were also in attendance.
