Solar Panel Ignition - Bar Beach

Around 9am this morning Fire and Rescue NSW got a triple 000 call to a house fire at Bells Bar in Newcastle.

On arrival Fire and Rescue Crews from Newcastle and Merewether found the cause was from a smouldering solar panel that had ignited.

Fire and Rescue crews isolated the panel and made sure all personnels were accounted for. They handed site over to owners who were told to contact electrician company.
