Motor vehicle accident - Rathmines

Just after 2pm, Fire and Rescue NSW were called to a motor vehicle accident that occurred outside the Toronto Golf Club.

Upon arrival, Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Toronto found an accident involving two vehicles with one of the vehicles off the road. One male occupant remained in one vehicle due to his injuries.

Paramedics from the NSW Ambulance were on the scene to treat the male passenger for a possible spinal injury.

NSW Police and Fire and Rescue NSW worked together to arrange a vet for an injured Kelpie that was involved in the accident.

Fire and Rescue NSW freed the male from the vehicle shortly after. He was transported by ambulance to hospital for further assessment.

Fire and Rescue NSW cleared the road of debris and other hazards allowing for the road to be reopened.
