Solar Panel Fire - Lake Cathie

Just before 2pm today Fire and Rescue NSW were called to respond to a house fire in Lake Cathie. The caller reported the owners were away on holidays.

On arrive Fire and Rescue crew from Port Macquarie found the cause was from a smouldering isolation switch on solar panel.

Fire and Rescue worked alongside the local Rural Fire Service and made the property safe.
