Motor Vehicle Accident - Terrigal

Just after 11:00pm last night Fire and Rescue NSW received a Triple Zero (000) call to a single vehicle accident on the Scenic Highway in Terrigal.
On arrival, crews found a four wheel drive vehicle over a guardrail with the driver trapped.
Firefighters from Gosford Fire Station used specialist rescue equipment to remove the whole side and roof of the vehicle to safely access the patient.
Meanwhile Ambulance NSW Paramedics treated and stabilised the patient.
The patient was removed by 12:30am and transported to hospital via Helicopter.
