House Fire - West Pennant Hills

Multiple Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews from western Sydney have brought a house fire under control on New Farm Road, West Pennant Hills today.

Firefighters from Eastwood Fire Station arrived on scene shortly after 3pm to find the single-level house well alight, but with the assistance of additional crews from nearby stations, brought it under control at about 3.30pm.

Firefighters remain at the scene to ensure the fire is fully extinguished and has not extended into the roof space.

NSW Ambulance have treated one person on scene for smoke inhalation, with NSW Police also in attendance.
