Spillage - Halloran

Just after 3pm today Fire and Rescue were called to the M1 Motorway at Hallaron for a prime mover which ruptured its fuel tank due to an exploded stray tyre landing underneath the truck.
On Arrival Doyalson crew observed 100Ltr diesel fuel tank had ruptured and was leaking down Motorway.
With the assistance of Berekley Vale specialist Hazmat crews and Rural Fire Service, fuel is currently being rendered safe and crews will be decanting the remaining fuel
Police are on scene for traffic control
