Building Fire - Sydney

Just after 9pm Fire and Rescue received a call to a large building alight in Macquaire St, in the middle of the City.
On arrival crews for City of Sydney Station found a large church with smoke coming from the roof of the structure.
Over 20 Fire Fighters were called as a precaution with police and Ambulance NSW on scene.
An extensive search was undertaken to locate the cause of the smoke in the ceiling.
Just before 1130 the smoke finally dissipated and area was rendered safe after no fire was found.
No injuries were reported
