House Fire - Rooty Hill

More than 20 firefighters are currently working to extinguish a fire that broke out just before 4pm at a home on Kit Place, Rooty Hill.

Firefighters from Mount Druitt Fire Station arrived first on scene to find a large fire had started in a single level home and spread to a neighbouring home which was also well alight.

Multiple crews from across western Sydney are currently working to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading.

A number of homes in Kit Pl have been evacuated as a precaution however no injuries have been reported.
