Unit Fire - Botany

Just after 3:30pm today Fire and Rescue NSW responded to multiple Triple Zero (000) calls to a unit alight on Pemberton St, Botany.

Witnesses reported flames and thick black smoke coming from the ground floor unit.

Initial investigations found the fire was caused from a aircon compressor.

The fire was extinguished with no further spread to the unit.
