House Fire - Belrose

Just before 2.20pm this afternoon Fire and Rescue NSW firefighters from Forestville attended a house fire in Wyatt Ave, Belrose.

On arrival firefighters found smoke and flames issuing from the rear of the property and worked in breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire which destroyed part of the home.

One occupant was transported to hospital for observation.
The cause of this fire is being investigated

The incident command was handed over to former Fire and Rescue NSW Commissioner and now Rural fire service Captain Greg Mullins.

Also in attendance Warringah Rural Fire Brigade, Belrose Rural Fire Brigade and Beacon Hill Rural Fire Brigade.
