Factory Fire - Condell Park

Just after 3pm this afternoon, Fire and Rescue NSW responded to an industrial site on Eldridge Road, Condell Park after receiving numerous Triple Zero (000) calls reporting a factory fire.

Multiple crews from across Sydney's South West arrived on scene to find thick plumes of smoke issuing from an office at the rear of the factory.

Approximately 20 firefighters are working to control the blaze and prevent the fire from spreading to surrounding structures.

NSW Ambulance are in attendance, although no injuries have been reported.

NSW Police have closed Eldridge Road and Simmat Road until firefighters can render the incident safe. Traffic is heavily affected and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
