House Fire - Elizebeth Hills

Just after 4pm this afternoon, Fire and Rescue NSW responded to a home on Gowanlea Avenue, Elizabeth Hills after receiving numerous Triple Zero (000) calls with reports of a house fire.

Multiple crews from Fire Stations across Sydneys West arrived on scene to find large volumes of smoke and flames issuing from the garage of a single level home.

Firefighters worked quickly to control the blaze, however the fire spread into the home causing significant damage.

Surrounding homes were evacuated as a precaution, although no injuries have been reported.

NSW Ambulance and NSW Police also attended the incident, investigations into the cause are ongoing.
