House Fire - Sylvania

Just after 10.10am this morning, Fire and Rescue NSW crews responded to Kelly Street, Sylvania following reports of a large house fire.

Multiple Fire Stations from the Sutherland Shire responded to the incident and on arrival found a single level house with visible flames and smoke issuing from the front of the home.

Firefighters worked quickly to attack the blaze and protect the blaze from spreading to nearby homes.

The fire was contained just after 11am, no injuries were reported however the home was significantly damaged.

Fire investigators are currently working with NSW Police to identify the cause of the fire.
