House Fire - Eden

Just after 10am this morning, Fire and Rescue NSW responded to a home on West Street, Eden after receiving a Triple Zero (000) call reporting a house fire.

Crews from Eden and Merimbula Fire Stations arrived on scene and found large volumes of smoke issuing through the roof of a single level home.

Firefighters from both Fire and Rescue NSW and the NSW Rural Fire Service worked to extinguish the blaze and were able to contain the fire to the house of origin just after 12pm.

One occupant was treated by NSW Ambulance on scene.

The home has been completely destroyed by fire, investigations into the cause are ongoing.
