Building Fire - Belrose

Just after 6pm on Friday evening Fire and Rescue NSW responded to repeat Triple Zero (000) calls to a building fire with possible persons trapped on Ashworth St in Belrose.
On arrival firefighters from Forrestville found an abandoned library well alight.
After quick actions from firefighters it was confirmed there was no-one inside and the incident was upgraded due to the size of the fire.
The fire was extinguished over an hour after arrival.
The scene was handed over to NSW Police who were in attendance.
Superintendent Adam Dewberry from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) said this is a timely reminder that calling Triple Zero (000) for an emergency can be the difference between life and death.
