Car Crash - Persons Trapped - Ariah Park

At 1:30pm this afternoon, emergency services responded to a two vehicle crash on on Burley Griffin Way, Ariah Park.

Crews from Temora Fire Station and the NSW Rural Fire Service arrived on scene a short time later to find one car had overturned after colliding with a truck.

The female driver of the car and the truck driver were both treated on scene by NSW Ambulance before being transported to hospital.

Firefighters worked with the NSW State Emergency Service to extricate two children who had become trapped in the car as a result of the incident. Both children were transported to hospital for further treatment.

NSW Police are in attendance assisting with traffic management as emergency services continue to render the area safe. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.
