Rescue Incident - Hunters Hill

Just before 11:30am, 25 October, Fire and Rescue NSW responded to a rescue incident at a waterfront home on Bonnefin Road, Hunters Hill after a female slipped, fracturing her ankle in the fall.

Crews form Ryde, Eastwood and Drummoyne Fire Stations arrived on scene to find an elderly female in need of medical attention, after she slipped fracturing her ankle near the waters edge.

Due to the difficult access, fire fighters assisted NSW Ambulance to lift the patient up a steep rocky slope to an awaiting ambulance before being transported to hospital.

NSW Police also attended to render assistance.
