Roof Rescue - Currans Hill

Just before 2:30pm, 18 October, Fire and Rescue NSW were called to a home on Farmhouse Place, Currans Hill after receiving reports of an injured worker trapped in the roof space.

Crews from Campbelltown and Liverpool Fire Stations arrived shortly after and confirmed one middle aged male was injured and now trapped, while working in the roof space of the home.

Firefighters removed roof tiles to access the patient and assess his injuries. Crews then packaged him into a basket stretcher, before being safely lowered to the ground.

The patient was treated on scene by NSW Ambulance and transported to hospital.

NSW Police also attended to render assistance.
