Bird Rescue - Liverpool

Just after 10am, 17 October, Fire and Rescue NSW were called to Mayberry Crescent, Liverpool after receiving a report baby birds were trapped in the wall of a home.

A crew from Liverpool Fire Station arrived shortly after to investigate. The home owner suggested the baby birds had fallen from the roof space into a wall cavity below.

Firefighters used a search and rescue camera to locate two baby birds before carefully cutting through the wall to safely rescue them.

The uninjured birds were left in the care of the home owner.
