Truck - Rollover - Berrima

Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Moss Vale Fire Station and the NSW Rural Fire Service attended the scene of a truck accident that caused the spillage of a large amount of gravel on the Hume Highway at Berrima this morning.

FRNSW arrived on scene at 11.20am to find the truck trailer on its side and the gravel it was carrying spilled onto the road near the Old Hume Highway exit.

The driver was uninjured.

FRNSW rendered the area safe and handed it over to NSW Police.

NSW Police closed two north-bound lanes on the Hume Highway with traffic heavily affected in both directions as the spill and wreckage is removed.
