Car Crash, Driver Trapped - Orchard Hills

At 11:11am, Fire and Rescue NSW were alerted to reports of a car crash on The Northern Road, Orchard Hills.

Fire Stations from Sydney's Western suburbs responded to the incident, and on arrival found the vehicle had crashed into the guard rail trapping the driver.

Crews worked to stabilise the vehicle and extricate the injured male driver who was then handed over to NSW Ambulance and transported to hospital for treatment.

Roads and Maritime Service assisted firefighters in rendering the area safe and fixing the broken guard rail.
