Multi Vehicle Crash - Moorebank

Just after 8pm, 8 October, Fire and Rescue NSW responded to an incident on the M5 South Western Motorway, Moorebank after receiving reports of a multi vehicle crash with persons trapped.

Crews from Liverpool Fire Station arrived on scene to find four cars involved in a serious crash, one person trapped and multiple people in need of medical attention.

Firefighters administered first aid to those in need before freeing one 25 year old female from the wreck.

NSW Ambulance treated multiple injured people on scene and transported two to hospital.

NSW Police attended and closed three west-bound lanes of the M5, resulting in lengthy delays.
