Rescue Incident - Lindfield

Just after 2.40pm today, Fire and Rescue NSW were called to a building on Eton Rd, Lindfield following reports a person had injured their leg whilst on the roof.

Crews from Gordon Fire Station and Crows Nest Fire Station arrived on scene a short time later and found a male patient had speared wire through his knee and was unable to move.

Firefighters worked to stabilise the man and with the assistance of an an aerial ladder were able to safely lower the patient into the care of NSW Ambulance paramedics.

The man was treated on scene before being transported to hospital via ambulance.
