Bird Rescue - Bondi

Just before 12:30pm Tuesday, 29 September Fire and Rescue NSW were called to Ocean Street, Bondi after receiving reports of a trapped bird.

Crews from Woollahra Fire Station arrived on scene to find a crow tangled in fishing line approximately ten metres high in a tree.

Using a the ladder platform (cherry picker) fire fighters safely removed the bird from the tree and dropped it to the local vet for treatment for a suspected broken leg.
