Building Fire - Hurstville

Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Sydney's South were called to Crofts Avenue, Hurstville at 1:48pm this afternoon after multiple Triple Zero (000) calls reported a building fire.

Seven fire trucks attended the incident, arriving to the scene to find smoke and flames issuing from an empty office display suite in the building.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the unit of origin and a search on other levels of the building indicated no further fire spread. However, the impacted unit was heavily damaged.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
