Brick Wall Collapse - Gladesville

At 10:35am, Fire and Rescue NSW were alerted to a brick wall collapse onto overhead powerlines on Victoria Road, Gladesville.

Ryde Fire Station arrived on scene to find one tonne of bricks had fallen onto an awning that was facing the street and had impacted overhead powerlines.

AUSGRID isolated power allowing firefighters to assess the structure for signs of collapse, and set up an exclusion zone to keep pubic away.

NSW Police have closed one North bound lane of traffic on Gladesville Road. Motorists are asked to drive with caution through the area.
