Car Crash - Persons Trapped - Punchbowl

At approximately 11am this morning, Fire and Rescue NSW crews were called to an incident on Dudley Street, Punchbowl after receiving reports of a crash involving two cars with one person trapped.
Crews from Lakemba and Liverpool Fire Stations arrived on scene and worked to rescue one middle aged female from the wreck.
After approximately 20 minutes, the patient was removed and placed in the care of NSW Ambulance.
NSW Police attended to direct traffic until the incident was cleared.
