Car Crash - Persons Trapped - Greenacre

Just before 10am, Fire and Rescue NSW were called to an incident on the Hume Highway near Sherman Street, Greenacre after a ute overturned trapping the driver.

Crews from Bankstown and Lakemba Fire Stations arrived on scene and worked to free the male driver from the wreck.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance and transported to hospital.

NSW Police have closed three north-bound lanes. Traffic is extremely heavy, please avoid the area if possible.
