Structure Fire - Woolloomooloo

Just before 8pm this evening, Fire and Rescue NSW crews responded to reports of a building fire on Dowling St, Woolloomooloo.

More than 40 Firefighters from Fire Stations across Sydney are on scene working to extinguish a fire on the top level of a five story building which has spread into the roof.

There are no reported injuries.

NSW Ambulance and NSW Police also are on scene.

UPDATE: 8:50pm
Fire contained and extinguished to unit of origin, no further spread to building.
Primary and secondary searches conducted with all clear.
Ventilation commencing shortly.

UPDATE: 9:45pm
5 people evacuated and 3 people transported by NSW Ambulance.
Detectives from NSW Police on scene investigating fire scene.
