Building Fire - Sydney

Just after 1:30pm this afternoon Fire and Rescue NSW received multiple Triple Zero (000) calls following a building fire at Hoskings Place, Sydney.
Upon arrival crews were faced with a heavily smoke logged building and were able to rescue one male who had become trapped on the roof of the building.
More than twenty firefighters battled the blaze and were able to bring the fire under control just before 2pm.
One male was treated on scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for smoke inhalation.
