Multi vehicle crash - Bensville

Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Kincumber, Gosford and Berkeley Vale Fire Stations were called to Empire Bay Drive, Bensville at approximately 4:45pm, 15 September after receiving reports of a collision involving one truck and two cars.

Crews arrived to find a cement truck overturned and two cars down an embankment.

Firefighters administered first aid to the injured persons until NSW Ambulance arrived a short time later.

A number of people were treated and transported to hospital by NSW Ambulance.

Crews remained on scene to assist in the removal of the vehicles and to clean up a small diesel spill.

Empire Bay Drive was closed in both directions.
