Car and Truck Collision - Belmont

At 3:10pm Fire and Rescue NSW were called to a truck and car crash on the Pacific Highway near Alick St in Belmont.

Belmont Fire Station responded to the incident and found two cars had collided, with one vehicle crashing into the back of a truck, causing the airbags to deploy.

Firefighters stabilised the cars and used a special absorbent soil for fuel that had leaked on to the road. They removed debris from the scene and rendered the area safe.

Two drivers from the vehicles were released from the cars and treated at the scene by Ambulance NSW. No other injuries were sustained.

NSW Police were also in attendance.
