House Fire - Leeton

Just after 4pm Fire and Rescue NSW crews responded to Barnhill Rd, Leeton following a number of Triple Zero (000) calls reporting a house fire.

Crews from Leeton Fire Station were first on scene and found an unoccupied single level home fully involved in fire.

Firefighters from both Fire and Rescue NSW and the NSW Rural Fire Service worked to extinguish the fire while also preventing the fire from spreading to surrounding areas.

Firefighters worked for over an hour to extinguish the fire however the entire home has been destroyed.

NSW Police were also on scene, investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
