Aircraft incident - Bankstown

Just after 1pm, 12 September, Fire and Rescue NSW crews were alerted to an aircraft in trouble above Bankstown Airport.
Upon arrival, crews were asked to standby while the plane burnt off its fuel load before attempting an emergency landing due to a suspected deflated nose wheel.
Seven fire crews from Sydney's West attended the scene for the landing which was fortunately executed safely.
Crews assessed the damaged aircraft before the incident was handed over to airport control.
Two passengers on board were checked over by NSW Ambulance and given the all clear.
