Truck Fire - Macksville

Just before 3pm today Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Macksville Fire Station have responded to reports of a truck fire southbound on the Pacific Highway, Macksville.

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews arrived a short time later to find a truck fully engulfed in fire. Firefighters from FRNSW and NSW Rural Fire Service are currently working to extinguish the blaze.

The driver has managed to evacuate the truck with no injuries reported.

NSW Police and NSW Ambulance are in attendance. Traffic will be slow through the area until the incident has been cleared, if you are driving through the area please exercise caution.
