Multi Vehicle Crash - Homebush West

Just after 9:30am this morning crews from Fire and Rescue NSW responded to Homebush Bay Drive, Homebush West after reports of an accident between a truck and two cars.

Crews from Silverwater and Burwood Fire Stations arrived soon after to find two occupants from one of the cars still trapped inside.

With fire protection in place as a precaution, fire fighters cut the two doors from one side and removed the roof of the car. Together crews and NSW Ambulance safely rescued an elderly male and female from the wreck.

One elderly female has been transported to hospital by NSW Ambulance

Traffic was affected in the area for a number of hours. NSW Police were also in attendance.
