House Fire - Jordan Springs

Shortly before 5:30am this morning, Fire and Rescue NSW were alerted to an alarm operating in a house in Jordan Spring, Penrith, after a vacuum cleaner had reportedly caught alight.
Multiple fire stations from Sydney's Western suburbs responded, with crews from Penrith arriving first to find a single level brick home with fire in the rear of then house. All residents had self evacuated.
Firefighters got to work immediately to attack the blaze and bring it under control quickly, containing it to two rear rooms.
Extinguishing the fire, crews checked for any extension and performed salvage and overhaul to render to area safe for hand over to the occupants.
NSW Police and Ambulance NSW were in attendance, however no injuries were sustained as a result of this fire.
